克缅在MALIYANG周边继续展开战斗

   克钦独立军7营虽让出阵地，但克缅双方军堆在MALI YANG周边继续展开战斗，导致MALI YANG百姓沦为难民。目前逃避战火到达克钦控区迈立卡江东岸的难民直到18日最后准确统计已到达2000名。目前当地食量比较紧缺。

   景颇族基督教总会密支那KBC总会通过缅方政府克钦邦总理LAJAWN NGAN SENG向缅军驻密支那军区<M.P.HK>请求，教会派人送物质救援战区难民，未得到批准。可以从水路前往但是，对安全不负任何责任。KBC总会暂停了此次援助行动，其它组织也无法将援助物资送到该地区。

Dear Humanitarian Agencies,
I would like to update the situation regarding current
humanitarian needed situation in Sumprabum Township due to fighting
between Myanmar Govt and KIO. The fighting has been started since 24
June to until now. The Govt army have attached to the KIO post in Mali
Yang including heavy artillery shell and air jet fighter attack.
Since clash on 24 June, air jet fighters bombed two
times on 8 July, 2015 on Mali Yang Primary School. Due to holiday,
there is no students injured.

The current clash have fled mainly around 1300 villagers including
around 250 primary students mainly from
1. Mali Yang Village (west of Mali Hka): around 154 people (30 primary students)
2. Ja Ra Yang (east of Mali Hka): around 400 people (60 primary students)
3. Lawt Mai Yang (east of Mali Hka): around 300 people (30 primary students)
4. Nhtan Zup Villages (which are east of Mali Hka): around 400 people
(60 Primary students)
5. Nlam Ga Village : around 120 villagers

At the moment, all the villagers have fled to jungle in east of Mali
Hka. The most concerns are protection issues who could not fled from
villages and their basic need who fled to jungle for security. Right
now, 4 school have been closed and children are also fleeing to jungle
too. Also, the weather is so rough because of heavy rain. The most
needs are foods, medicines and tarpaulin at the moment.

KBC is planning to reach the areas to provide assistance in the
conflict areas. We have informed to Govt Authorities including State
Minister. We are planning to depart from Myitkyina on 18 July, 2015
with 200 bags of rice and 10 bags of salt including some essential
medicines. However, the possibility of transporting these assistance
is fully depending on situation of conflict and permission from
front-line military.

We will keep updating the process of our activities and situation of
villagers in Mali Yang in Sumpra Bum Township.
